I've learned over the years that eating a big breakfast early in the morning is not something I enjoy. Something about my cravings when I first wake do not lend themselves to devouring protein rich bacons, eggs, or biscuits. Brunch... now that's my jam! I love breakfast food, I just prefer to eat it later in the day. I've discovered that my body is much happier with a hearty, creamy smoothie or smoothie bowl in the early morning.
