Welcome back to Monday Munchies! I hope you have had a great weekend and are ready to tackle this week with a positive attitude and happy outlook on life. As you know, every Monday I will be sharing a simple recipe with you that you can make using ingredients you most likely already have on hand. I want to encourage you that clean eating is possible and easy for everyone. Today I decided to make a Clean Eating Yogurt Parfait using items on sale at my local grocer.

Banana, blackberries, cantelope, and vanilla greek yogurt come together for this light and fresh fruit parfait.

First, I cut two slices of cantelope and chopped it into bite size pieces.

Next I added a layer of yogurt, then the blackberries and another layer of yogurt.

Next I sliced up half of my banana and layered it on top.

You'll notice I added a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. This is totally optional, but it did give the parfait a nice spice.

Next, I dug in!

This recipe is great for days when you are busy, but still want to give your family variety. Simply changing the way you present healthy, clean eating foods can be fun for kids and adults alike.

Join me Wednesday for Wednesday Workouts, where I share a simple way that I chose to stay active. Clean eating and active living are possible! You can do it! Happy Munching!

Ingredients

1⁄2
Banana (Sliced)
2 sli
Cantelpe (Chopped into bite size pieces)

Chop up two slices of cantelope into bit size pieces and layer them on the bottom of a cute glass. Next, add a layer of your greek yogurt. I never would've thought of combining those 3 fruits together in a million years, but now that I think about it, it sounds so wonderful!!

I usually go by what's on sale. I was nervous about these together as well. But it turned out delicious!

Can I hire you as my personal chef, your foods look fabulous!

Ha! You are so sweet. I hope you enjoy the recipe!
