10 Clean Holiday Recipes to Try this Season!

This time of year my mind always wanders back home. The sights and sounds of the holidays instantly take me back to the pond where my cousins and I used to feed the ducks, while my grandmother prepared the most amazing meals. I remember one holiday waking up to see the pond had frozen over! It rarely got this cold in Mississippi and I thought it was the most magical thing I had ever seen. My aunts, uncles, and cousins would all pile into my grandparents house, be it Thanksgiving or Christmas. We laughed together, shared our dreams, and told the most exagerated outlandish stories you can ever imagine. With every slice of pumpkin pie, every cup of warm cocoa, and every piece of turkey I gobble, I am always at home in my heart. No matter how far my Mama Rose, Papa John, aunts, uncles, and cousins are, we are together in those memories. And nothing can ever change that.

Although I adore my grandmother Rose's cooking (way, way too much, don't even get me started on her bread pudding!), I plan to try out a few new paleo and some vegan recipes this season to mix in with some of our family favorites. I am sharing my top ten with you and I hope you will try them too!
