You have that one friend (or family member) that's always telling you about the delicous healthy food they made the other night. They flood your Instagram feed with photos of green smoothies and sweet potatoes baked five ways. They know all about the nutritious benefits of adding more veggies into their diet and share creative ways to do just that all the time.

OK... let's be honest... this friend is YOU! You came here to read the cookbook suggestions so you could send them to your friends and family *hint, hint, here's what I want for Christmas*. Good! Let's talk cookbooks!

Mississippi Vegan: Recipes and Stories from a Southern Boy's Heart

This book is #1 on my personal wish list. I've been following Timothy on Instagram and his blog for a while now and he's a big inspiration for incorporating more plant-based meals into my daily eating. Y'all he's from Mississippi just like me, he's absolutely precious, and his recipes are creative and delicious enough to please any meat-eater in your family. Oh, and don't let me forget to mention that THE JAMIE OLIVER just did a review on why he loves this book. So, um, yeah. Straight from the biggest pro in the industry.

Cooking in Color

Part cookbook part food styling instruction- can't get much better than that! The cover alone has me ready to dive into these healthy plant forward recipes ASAP. Jeremy & Adrian have filled the book with vibrant, delicious recipes. It even has an entire section dedicated to food styling. Their love & knowledge of healthy eats and food photography are evident- A Spiffy recommendation for sure!

The Anti-Inflammation Cookbook

Amanda Haas created a cookbook based on her own personal journey. She suffered from inflammation and after research and practice learned how to control it through eating. This whole concept is really interesting to me. I love Amanda's style on Instagram. She shares simple recipes that are loaded with nutrients. I can't wait to see what awesomeness this cookbook holds!
