All-natural Candles- Shop Local

When it comes to household items, I do my best to choose natural items in all cases. My usual all-purpose cleaner, white vinegar, water and lemon essential oil. I use it to clean my kitchen counters, floors and bathroom! 

Candles have always been a struggle for me. I am lured in by all of the sweet smells of the big name brands who make promises of spring rain, pumpkin spice, gingerbread houses and the like. Yet, the thought of putting harmful chemicals into the air that my family and I breathe really bothers me. I have attempted a few different brands of natural candles, only to be disappointed by the lack of scent- until now!

Through the writing group I am part of, See Jane Write Birmingham, I was introduced to a young woman who owns her own candle business called Scents from Heaven. Brittney's candles are AMAZING! Seriously guys. I am currently using the lavender vanilla and my home smells like warm, relaxing goodness. 

The best part of her creations is that they are all-natural and contain no harsh chemicals. Oh, and I  know I mentioned it before but, the candles smell INCREDIBLE!
