Winter Smoothie Bowl

The weather is brisk, sweaters and boots are in regular rotation, and our home is in snuggle mode 24/7. I love winter for so many reasons, one of the top being amazing spice combinations. The aroma of cinnamon floods my mind with precious memories of sipping apple cider from a tiny paper sample cup while shopping for holiday goodies with my mother.

Today's recipe invites you to fill your body full of nutritious goodness, while igniting your taste buds with the flavors of the season.

This recipe comes to us from Emilie Maynor Living. My creative, and brilliant friend is hosting a smoothie challenge during the first two weeks of December, and you better believe yours truly is joining in on the fun!

"The Blend Your Heart Out 14 Day Smoothie Challenge is an opportunity to kick start your health by replacing your usual breakfast bar with a delicious, nutrient dense green smoothie."

But, this is not a DIET! Diet culture is in no way a part of Emilie's mindset, nor mine, and that's one reason I am so happy to know her and learn from her.  Emilie states,

"*THIS IS NOT A CLEANSE*

You will receive a daily email with a new recipe and helpful tips or nutrition info. Emails go out the day before you will need them, so you have time to prep the night before if needed."

I hope you will join us as we indulge in flavorful, healthy, and nutrient rich smoothies each day!
