Monday Munchies Switchel: A cider version

A new friend recently told me about a drink called Switchel. I had never heard of it before, but he boasted of its health benefits and delightful flavor, so I was intrigued. Switchel originates as an Amish tradition. The drink is used to quench thirst and aid in electrolyte balance during harvest time. Switchel typically consists of vinegar and ginger. Sometimes honey or molasses are added. I chose to use my Champion juicer and juice 6 apples, 1 carrot, and 1 small piece of fresh ginger.
