Four years ago if someone asked me to share a photo of my workspace I would have been horrified. I had no desk, no camera equipment, no food photography props, no planner! Scary, right? But, when I look back on those times, they hold some of the best memories. Those were the days that I was simiply using my iPhone camera to snap photos of the healthy recipes I was creating. I'd snuggle up in my bed to write blog posts and share my unedited photos. It was pure, it was honest, and it was the beginning of this beautiful life I'm living now. Reason 9,275,000 that I love living in Birmingham- THE COMMUNITY! When I moved here 5 years ago, I had no idea what amazing people I would meet. This photo from my first food photography workshop was filled with ladies I met from S ee Jane Write membership club, local restaurant owners, small business owners, and more- most of whom I’m now lucky enough to call friend. The women of Birmingham are fierce, loyal, creative, and fearless. What an honor to call this city and this community home

I shifted all my energy to guiding wellness coaches & advocates. By focusing specifically on their needs, I’ve been able to create safe spaces for them to grow. By guiding them in intuitive food photography, I’ve seen them go from feeling confused & frustrated with their photos to creating stunning, gorgeous shots that reflect the light & love they want to put out into the world. I love sharing daily Insta stories with you guys. The joy of creating a fun morning smoothie recipe, choosing a jaunty jazz song, and posting is one of my favorite things to do. I know you may have been wondering where I've been, so I wanted to hop on and let you all know: A. I am ok, or as ok as I can be B. I will be back and active again soon! There's some really serious stuff going on with my family right now. Things are tough. And most of my time is and will be spent being present with them, cooking for them, & caring for the little ones. I appreciate all of your kind words. I am...
