I attended my first holiday party tonight! I know some folks prefer to celebrate one holiday at a time and feel it's a little early for Christmas celebrations. I love to celebrate them all starting in November! So bring on the Thanksgiving get togethers, Christmas get togethers, New Year's get togethers. I'll take them all! For tonight's party I made a simple, but very festive recipe with 3 delicious ingredients.

Let me start by saying, this time of year can be super stressful! For those of you with children, going back to school is a very hectic time. For those of you who work retail, back to school is insanely busy! College students, trust me I understand! The next few weeks can truly effect the way you eat. As we get busy, it is so tempting to grab poptarts, cereal, or other sugary foods as a quick alternative to healthy eating. How can you avoid this trap? FOOD PREP! Food prep sounds way more daunting than it should. It evokes images of 50 plastic tupaware containers filled with chicken you need...

Welcome back to Monday Munchies! This time of year I absolutely love going to my local farmers market. One of my favorite things is to wake up early and get to the market before the crowds. I love strolling through the booths and seeing all of the beautiful hand made items, delicious produce and locally sourced eggs of all different colors. Now that it's June peaches are starting to show up at lots of the booths. Peaches hold a special place in my heart. As a child when I would travel to Rena Lara, Missippi we would walk down to my aunt's house and pick peaches from her orchard. I remember...

Here's how I made it. Mix together 4 oz of goat cheese with 4 oz of whole fat greek yogurt. This works best if the goat...

I have been making cashew milk at home for years because of the healthy fats and the natural calming properties. So, you can imagine my delight when I discovered that Silk had started carrying their own Cashew Milk! I'm sure it will be nice to purchase pre-made non GMO cashew milk on those occasions that I do not have time to make it myself. I usually try to avoid store bought sweetened, condensed milk because of al the additives and processing. So I thought why not make a sweetened, condensed milk with the Cashew Milk I have on hand? It turned out quite delicious! I can't wait to make a...

Today I have a delightful recipe to share with you! It is perfect to whip up when you have a party to attend this Holiday season. This recipe is adapted from Anne Byrn Saves the Day , a cookbook with fantastic recipes designed to "rescue any occasion". I had the privilege of going to a live demo of this recipe and have been wanting to try it out ever since. The original recipe calls for cream cheese. I chose to use whole fat greek yogurt, as most store bought cream cheeses do not have a very clean ingredient list. (Sidenote> I have learned that you can substitue healthy whole fat greek...
