Today we had the privelege of enjoying brunch at one of the newest spots in Birmigham- Feast and Forest. Feast and Forest is a unique restaurant located in a quiet corner of historic Birmingham. As soon as we walked up to the store front, I knew this place had my heart.

Feast and Forest is owned by the same talented folks who call themselves The Baking Bandits. I love their scones and get one as often as possible from Pepperplace Market. We love seeing their dream of having a store front come to life! And let me tell you how awesomely delicious the food was!

I had the Farm Egg Salad. The kale comes from Jones Valley Teaching Farm. Anyone who supports Jones Valley is someone who deserves our support. The flavors of this salad were rich, crisp, and refreshing. The warm eggs wilted the kale just the right amount and the croutons were to die for! Tony had the Breakfast Sammich and it was just as good. The ham was stacked thick and the crispy homemade bread was rich and buttery.

The baking bandits goodies were almost completely sold out by the time we got there, but I am definitely going to try the rosemary shortbread next time I go. I hope you will all take the time to support these talented local folks, you will not regret it!
