Simple Oven Dried Fruit

Thank you for joining me for Monday Munchies where I share with you an easy recipe you can make using ingredients you most likely already have in your kitchen. Today I will be sharing with you a simple way to dry fruit using just your oven. The flavor reminds me of fruit roll-ups! So, I guess this is a clean eating alternative! Enjoy.

First preheat your oven to 200 degrees F.  Then slice your fruit to the thickness you prefer. Remember it will shrink up when you bake it, so go a little thicker than I did here. This first time was a learning experience for me.

Then take a teaspoon of Coconut Oil ( I used 2 tablespoons and it was definitely too much!) Spread it around on a baking/cookie sheet. And line all your fruit up in a single layer.

I have a kitchen helper. Yes, that's his own little red farm stool that he sits on while I cook. Excuse that dirty kitchen floor! I do a lot of cooking.

Next place the fruit into your 200 degree oven and bake for anywhere from 4-6 hours. Check it every once in a while and get it to the texture and dryness that you prefer. I hope you enjoy this fruit! Thank you for joining me for Monday Munchies!

Ingredients

1
Kiwi
1⁄2
Apple
1⁄2
Mango
1 t
Pure, Unrefined Coconut Oil

Instructions

Slice all your fruit to preferred thickness. (This was my first time trying this and next time I would like to slice my fruit a little thicker). Place fruit in a single layer on baking sheet coated in Coconut Oil. Bake at 190 degrees F for 5-6 hours. Enjoy your delicious fruit in salads, oatmeal, cookies, or just by itself!
