Market Noel Ticket Giveaway (plus 3 vendors I can't wait to meet)
Have you heard of Market Noel? This is my 2nd Holiday Season to spend in Birmingham and I am amazed at how many incredible events are happening each weekend. "Market Noel is the Junior League of Birmingham's (JLB) annual holiday market, a three-day shopping extravaganza that benefits the programs of the JLB. Market Noel raises money for the league's community projects, serving women and children in the Birmingham area, in the areas of Education, Health, Financial Stability, and Safety and Crisis Intervention." I am ecstatic to be able to attend an amazing holiday market that not only has a list of incredible vendors, but also benefits a great cause. Market Noel will be held at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center in Birmingham from Thursday November 20- Saturday November 22. I am also very happy to announce that I will be giving away free tickets to the event! The tickets are for the Friday event Market Bliss. Enter to win your two tickets at the end of the post.
As you may have guessed, I am most excited about the vendors that carry or create healthy foods. So let me tell you which three vendors I am most excited to see this weekend.
1. Hot Squeeze
Their mission speaks to the way that I cook and blog. "It’s all about FLAVOR. Keeping it SIMPLE. Always ALL NATURAL." I love anyone that wants to show that all natural, healthy cooking can also be simple and delicious. I am so excited to see Sue, a creative caterer from Atlanta, and Rob, a member of the Kansas City BBQ Society, and taste some of their Chipotle Mustard!
In my cooking, we very rarely use conventional sugar- perhaps once or twice a year for sweet tea when family visits. My Mississippi family likes it syruppy sweet. Ha. But, in my every day cooking and baking I have grown to love using honey in place of sugar in most recipes. Local Alabama honey is my absolute favorite. I cannot wait to meet the folks at Garden Honey Bee and try some of their enticing jalapeño honey. This stuff is going to be good.
'Tis the season for soup! I absolutely love a warm soup on a crisp, cold day. I love how the aroma fills the whole house and makes every part of my home feel warm and cozy. Frontier Soups has some delightful offerings, including options that are vegetarian and gluten-free. I have my eye on the gluten-free South of The Border Tortilla Soup. Sounds like a perfect Taco Tuesday dinner.
I hope I will see you there on Friday! Enter to win below. Good luck and thank you so much for reading!
